Something I don't think Canadians realize: the Gomery inquiry will effectively be over by the time any spring election comes around.
All the evidence will have been made public. All the testimony will have been heard by then. The only thing remaining will be the final report, which will be an exhaustive review of the sponsorship scandal. Canadians will be able to judge for themselves well before then. I'm sure they'll have the help of the opposition parties if they need it.
