Flying Canadian flag now illegal in Caledonia
For the life of me, I don't understand what the heck is going on in Caledonia. Natives are allowed to take land by force and fly their own non-Canadian flags on it, while Canadian citizens aren't allowed to fly the Canadian flag on Canadian soil right beside them.What kind of country would allow this to happen? We know McGuinty's position on this. Stephen Harper, where the heck are you?
Have we become so afraid of another Ipperwash that we've forgotten what Canada is and stands for? Does it stand for this kind of outright injustice? Does it stand for brute force and the threat of violence versus peaceful dissent and the flying of the Canadian flag?
What country are we living in again?
