Don't believe the hype
Can somebody please tell me what leader Elizabeth May is doing to make the Green party into a formidable political force in this country? Mid-term poll numbers and being brave in front of a camera I don't believe constitute the foundation of a long-term Canadian political movement. Maybe that's just me. However, at some point, I think people should stop looking at the hype and start looking at the fine print. In fact, right now, there doesn't seem to be any fine print. It's all chest-thumping and praising the glorious leader. Nothing much else.

There's no evidence at the Green site that ANYTHING is being done on updating the fluffy "platform" Jim left behind from the 2006 election. Their schedule only shows nominiation events attended by the Chief WartHog, May.
