Red Sox vs Yankees
For sports fans, it doesn't get any better than this.
UPDATE (7:31pm): If there is a danger for the Red Sox going into this series, it's that this may be their World Series. For all the focus of the rivalry, and the Red Sox being perpetually on the losing side of it, they could conceivably win this battle, experience a letdown once it's over, and have the National League champs swoop in for the kill. If that were to happen, the Red Sox will have gotten the better of the Yankees this time without really changing the complete Yankee dominance of this rivalry. The Yankees will have still won all those championships, and the Red Sox will have still gone almost a century without one. Just some food for thought.
