According to Norman Spector, Ottawa Citizen columnist Susan Riley refers to the NDP as the centre-left alternative to the Liberals.
Question: How can anyone see the NDP as having anything to do with the political centre in this country?
Do they even have one centrist policy of note?
(Please don't tell me that balancing the budget with extreme levels of taxation and spending is centrist. Please don't also tell me that promising to balance the budget with extreme levels of taxation and spending is centrist either.)
