Artist beats athlete at Wimbledon

Before allowing Roger Federer's dominant win over Andy Roddick fade into the pages of the history books, let me just make this one simple observation of what took place yesterday during their final at Wimbledon.

Simply put, a tennis player beat a power athlete.

Roddick can work on his game for the rest of his life and he'll never have the natural tennis ability Federer displays with such ease and grace. Roddick had to work so much harder to do so much less than Federer. Roddick is one of the best players in the world. That means there might be no end in sight to Federer's reign as the ruler of men's tennis.

It really is an amazing thing to watch.
