Whose quagmire is it again?
US delights as Iraqi insurgents turn guns on each other.
UPDATE (5:16 pm): More signs of Sunni participation in a civilized Iraq.
Bush has been heavily criticized for his 'handling of Iraq'. It now seems there is hope that his efforts to bring Sunnis into the political process, against the wishes of foreign terrorists, are starting to work.
Bush has been accused of being stubborn and taking too hard a line against potential allies. Well, he hasn't done that with the Sunnis in Iraq. If greater outward progress is made in this regard I wonder if the critics will start giving him a little credit. Or will their hatred for the man mean continued empathy for the insurgents?
