The left certainly doesn't have a monopoly on Canadian values

I have been trying to find the text of a speech on crime Harper gave recently on one of his campaign stops. Why? Because the speech helps confront the myth that the left has a monopoly on Canadian values.

Let's not forget, while the motto for America is "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness", in Canada we have always been taught that our country is about "peace, order, and good government".

Harper's speech on crime was an embodiment of these founding Canadian principles. Yet it's the leftist parties that falsely claim he doesn't represent Canadian values.

This is the kind of speech and language the Conservatives should be waving around at every opportunity. Which is why I'm puzzled at not being able to find it on their website, or anywhere else.
