Uh, no, one man's terrorist is a terrorist
In case you were wondering, you're leaning left if you have no problem with a statement like this:
With its themes of spin masquerading as news, governments defending freedom as they erode it and one man's terrorist being another's freedom fighter, V For Vendetta is nothing if not timely.
Perhaps needles to say, there is an entire worldview out there, shared by millions, that doesn't adhere to the moral equivalence arguments as expressed above. Or maybe it isn't needless to say, which is why I feel I have a need to say it -- or write it.
