Let Toronto terror victims eat cake
I'm glad I'm not the only one to have noticed Michael Byers' bizarre performance (to say the least) on The National "At Issue" panel last Thursday night. Paul Wells goes into chopping mode on his blog and leaves very little left of the UBC academic intact.
In summary, Byers essentially put forth two amazing propositions in response to the terror arrests in Southern Ontario:
a) The rest of the country wouldn't shed any tears at the thought of Toronto being blown up by terrorists.
b) Americans are stupider than Canadians when it comes to responding to terrorist attacks.
I'd like to think we won't be seeing any more of that guy on The National. But it is the CBC. So, you never know.
