Canada gets another female political leader
As I alluded to in the update to my last post, the Green party has selected a new leader: Elizabeth May. Female political leaders have not done well at the national level in Canada. So, it'll be interesting to see how Ms. May does in the Green party's quest to finally win some seats in Parliament. There are many barriers the party needs to break in order to meet its goals. Gender might be one of those barriers, for whatever reason.
