Lebanon "indefinitely" postpones action on UN plan
According to this story, Lebanon's commitment to implementing the UN cease-fire resolution may be problematic.
The plan in general has all kinds of holes in it. There's a good chance everyone will be trying to plug them for some time before we actually see any kind of end to hostilities.
UPDATE (4:40 pm): If anyone has any doubts about my doubts over the peace plan, just pay attention to how the two parties are interpreting the terms of the resolution publicly. Hezbollah has declared it won't stop fighting until Israel leaves Lebanon. Israel has said it has the right to continue with some of its offensive goals even after the cease-fire is over. According to the terms of the agreement, they're both wrong. Stay tuned.
