
The mid-term elections are coming up south of the border. If
this is what we're to expect from the GOP, and
this from the Democrats, I suspect that George Bush is on the verge of yet more electoral success, despite all the criticism he's getting from the usual suspects. Unless an American political party can convince its citizens that national security is Job #1, especially post-9/11, they won't win. The Republicans are determined to make these upcoming elections about security. I just don't see how Howard Dean or the Democrats will be able to run away from that, as hard as they try.
