I predict a Liberal Super Weekend controversy
The Liberals are publishing the results of the delegate selection meetings as they come in. While it makes for great sport to political junkies like myself, my guess is that some of the candidates who aren't doing so well might start complaining, given that they might look like losers to members who haven't selected delegates yet. Two candidates who might fall into this category are Bob Rae and Gerard Kennedy, since both are doing worse than expected at this very early stage. Iggy might be doing some complaining, too, since he's not at the magic 30% level many believe he needs to be at coming out of the voting this weekend. Dion, on the other hand, is probably the candidate with the biggest smile on his face this morning. Still too early, but the publishing of these results may be of benefit to some and to the detriment of others, which is always the complaint when results are published before everyone is finished voting. We'll see.
