In passing...
It really is annoying watching all these wannabee candidates squaring off against one another in the Liberal leadership debate. Let's have those with half a chance of winning debate one another and then we'd be getting somewhere. Otherwise, BORING!
UPDATE (3:23 pm): More live blogging of this fascinating (cough cough) event. I find it interesting how Harper can throw this country into the gutter after only eight short months in power. I don't know if anyone could do that if they tried. Yet, somehow, all his critics credit Harper for possessing incredible powers in this regard. Amazing!
(3:32 pm): I'm actually very impressed by the fact that most of the Liberal leadership candidates look like they're giving French a go during this debate. I don't think any other national party could pull something like that off. This is in stark contrast to the Anglo-fest we witnessed from the NDP this weekend just down the street in Quebec City.
