Maybe Bob Rae wasn't a 'frontrunner' after all
There was a lot of grumbling from some of the Liberal grassroots about how Bob Rae was being depicted as a "frontrunner" by the media before Super Weekend. As the results below indicate (and they haven't changed much since), Rae ended up far closer to Kennedy and Dion than he did to Michael Ignatieff. I think, in this instance, the grassroots were right. The media and the pollsters maybe not so much. Either there's one frontrunner in Ignatieff, or four frontrunners in Ignatieff, Rae, Kennedy, and Dion. Bob Rae isn't in the same class as Ignatieff coming out of this weekend. Sorry.
