Maybe something will eventually stick?
I find curious some of the amendments to the Federal Accountability Act that Senate Liberals have proposed:
-To remove the Canadian Wheat Board from the reach of the Access to Information Act as the release of information could be harmful to trade of grain producers;
-To allow Sustainable Development and Technology Canada to "better respect
the sensitivity of the information" received from their applicants, to prevent the release of records containing trade secrets and commercial information;
-To better protect the privacy of donors and the contract terms of performers at the National Arts Centre.
Maybe Liberals senators haven't been keeping in touch with their House counterparts, because a democratic Canadian Wheat Board and better Access to Information measures are what Liberal MPs have been advocating for lately.
In trying to throw darts at the Harper government, I guess not all Liberals are aiming at the same board.
