Mark Holland is no laywer
Watching the sparring match today between Stockwell Day and Mark Holland in parliamentary committee, it wouldn't be a leap to assume that Holland is a lawyer. He sure wants to sound like one. However, I suppose I wasn't too surprised to learn that he, in fact, is not a lawyer. Anyone who would ask a witness to explain the testimony of another witness is no lawyer. Stockwell Day is not a mind reader. If Holland wants the details of the RCMP commissioner's testimony explained, he should ask the commissioner himself. I'm not a lawyer either, but it seems like something right out of Law School 101. Perry Mason on steroids indeed.
