Dion is insular and arrogant
Yup. I couldn't have said it better myself, which is why I guess Michael Coren said it first.
Think about it. How can a guy with federalist roots, who has been in Ottawa for a decade, who has gone through a very long Liberal leadership race, not speak English any better than he does?
It's because he felt he didn't have to, just like he felt he didn't have to explain his French citizenship to anyone, just like he thought he could coast on an environmental record that doesn't exist, just like he thought he could refer to hard working Albertans as "making easy money," and just like he thought he could welcome back into the party someone who handed out $100 bills of Adscam cash."
The Harper Tories decided to unleash attack ads on this guy because they think his bubble needs some bursting. At some point or another, the media needs to start kicking the tires, too. The sooner they do it, the sooner we might learn whether or not we've got another bust as opposition leader on our hands. They don't all wear wetsuits, you know.
