Hamas and Fatah have killed the Palestinian state
That's how David Frum concludes his latest in today's National Post. It's provocative, but it's also probably hard to rebut.
While Israel started as a refuge for Holocaust survivors and has become a symbol of prosperity, civilization, and unity, the Arabs of the land were given just as much and have only managed to squander it with pettiness, bickering, infighting, and religious intolerance.
Yet, instead of admiring and learning from the success story that is Israel, the Palestinians have resorted to hatred of their neighbour in order to destroy themselves. Oh well.
