Religious schools and diversity
I was re-reading Premier Dalton McGuinty's attack on funding for faith-based schools. He called it an example of "segregation" that would separate kids from one another.
This is an odd argument coming from a Canadian liberal. Aren't they the champions of multiculturalism? Aren't they the defenders of cultural diversity? Yet here's one of their leaders decrying both in a desperate bid to hang onto power.
