Food for thought
Before the surge, people would compare Afghanistan with Iraq in order to disparage both operations. Now, about a year or so later, Iraq is being used as a model of hope and encouragement for both operations. Honestly, who'd a thunk? Am I now allowed a feeling of some vindication, especially given my frustration with the surrender lobby over the course of the last number of years?
