Question of the day
How much substance is there to the accusation that President Obama could have done more from the very beginning to mitigate that BP oil spill disaster?
It's becoming clear that, from the standpoint of politics and PR, he could have at least looked as though he was on top of things. But my current concern, again, is more substantive.
Are there specific things that the US government could have done to lessen the physical impact of this environmental crisis?
Facts would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
