Swing and a miss?
Let me get this straight. A picture of Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan playing baseball some years back, with a caption over it reading "Court Nominee Comes to the Plate" is supposed to be an example of lesbian "innuendo", is it?
Newsflash: Nothing will draw more attention to her alleged sexual orientation than yelling and screaming "lesbian innuendo" about this photo. Duh. Then again, maybe that was the point. Maybe they wanted to make sure that people knew she's probably a lesbian, and that's OK. OK?
Still. It's fascinating to see what gets certain people irritated these days. Could you imagine if the photo showed her swinging and missing? Chaos, I tell ya! How dare you suggest that lesbianism is a swing and miss proposition!
