Obama gets pelted from all sides
It's interesting to see Bob Herbert of the New York Times criticize President Barack Obama for not engaging in the right kind of huge big government spending. Poor Barack. Even when he tacks left, he doesn't get credit from the left.
Question: If Obama's version of socialism didn't work, what makes anyone think that other versions would work instead? At some point, the bills for social experimentation come due, don't they?
Oh, and by the way, my guess is that any Canadians readers who come across this post would not have much of a clue about what I'm talking about. For the most part, the coverage I've seen of Barack Obama has still been very glowing here north of the border despite his poor showing domestically. For now, I won't even start getting into why that is.
